Why a service is suspended and how to restore it

A service is usually suspended because an invoice is unpaid: services are suspended 3 days after the due date. Pay the overdue invoice under Billing to lift the suspension. If it's still suspended after you've paid, open a Billing & Account ticket.

The usual reason a service is suspended is an unpaid invoice. Services are suspended 3 days after the due date if the invoice for them hasn't been paid. To restore it, pay the overdue invoice under Billing in the client portal. If the service is still suspended after you've paid, open a Billing & Account ticket.

Check whether a service is suspended

  1. Sign in at https://my.oogle.net/client/login/.
  2. Select Services in the left menu.
  3. Open the Suspended tab. Suspended services are labeled in red and the tab has a Date Suspended column.
  4. Select Manage on the service. A notice reads "This service was suspended on …" with the date.

Restore a service suspended for non-payment

  1. Select Billing in the left menu, or go to https://my.oogle.net/client/invoices/.
  2. On the Open tab, find the overdue invoice.
  3. Select Pay.
  4. Complete Make Payment and Confirm Payment.
  5. Wait for the Thank You! page.
  6. Go back to Services and check the service's tab.

For more on paying, see Pay an invoice.

More than one open invoice?

If several invoices are on the Open tab, pay the oldest first, then any others that are overdue.

You'll know it worked when

  • The invoice has moved to the Closed tab under Billing.
  • Your payment is on the Approved tab under Transactions, at https://my.oogle.net/client/transactions/.
  • The service is back on the Active tab under Services, labeled in green.

If it's still suspended

  • The payment is on Pending. It's still being processed. Wait for it to be approved before paying again.
  • The payment is on Declined. It didn't go through. Try another card or bank account. See Add or update a card or bank account.
  • The payment is Approved, but the service is still suspended. Open a Billing & Account ticket. Give the invoice number and the service name. Don't include card or bank details.
  • There's no open invoice, but the service is suspended. Open a Billing & Account ticket and ask why. Give the service name as it appears under Services.
  • You can't pay right now. Open a Billing & Account ticket and tell us. It's better to talk to us than to leave it.

Website down but not suspended?

If your services are all Active and your website isn't working, it isn't a billing problem. Open a Website Support ticket: see Report a website that's down or broken.

Avoid it next time

  • Keep a current card or bank account under Payment Accounts.
  • Check the Open tab under Billing when you get an invoice email.
  • Read How billing, due dates and renewals work.

Next steps

  • Pay an invoice.
  • Your services and what each status means.
