What the monthly plan includes.
- Built for your business, not from a template. Your structure, your pages, your words. Not a theme demo with the photos swapped.
- Your branding, not ours. We build around the logo and the colors you already have. If you don't have them yet, say so and we'll talk about it before anything is designed.
- Designed for a phone first. Most of your visitors are on one.
- A page layout that reads like a company worth hiring. Type, spacing and hierarchy done properly.
- A contact form that works and reaches you. Tested, and not left pointing at an address nobody checks.
- The search foundations. Titles, descriptions, headings, a sitemap and clean addresses.
- Analytics set up. So you can tell whether it's doing anything.
- Fast enough to keep. Images sized properly, nothing loaded that the page doesn't use.
- Put live by us. Domain, certificate, redirects from the old site, and somebody watching the first day.
- Three hours of development work every month. Real changes, not fifteen-minute jobs: a new section, a form that does something different, the thing you thought of after launch. This is what Website Design has instead of Care's Quick Fixes, not as well as them.
- Onsite SEO, kept up. Titles, descriptions, headings, structure and internal links, revisited as the site grows rather than set once at launch.
- Everything in Website Care. Managed hosting and CDN, updates, security hardening, malware scanning and a firewall, off-site backups, performance, and hack recovery if it is ever needed.
What is quoted separately.
That figure is where a straightforward small business site starts: a handful of pages, telling people what you do and how to reach you. A store, a booking system, a members area, a directory, a portal or an application is a bigger job, and so is writing a site's worth of content from nothing or moving years of posts across. Work beyond the three hours a month is quoted before it starts, at preferred client rates.
Anything in that second list gets a written scope and a real number after we have looked at what you have. That is most of what we build, and it is where the interesting work is. Request a quote

We design the website and put it live, around the branding you already have. There is no large bill at the start.
You pay monthly
From $499 a month: the website, three hours of development work each month in place of Care's Quick Fixes, onsite SEO, and everything else in Website Care.
You can stop any time
No long-term contract. If you no longer need the website, stop the service.
After 12 monthly payments it is yours
Twelve monthly payments and you own the design outright. Stay on the plan, move down to Website Care, or take it elsewhere.

Before those 12 payments are made, stopping the service ends the service. It does not transfer the website.
How we approach it.
We'll tell you what isn't working
Plenty of people can make a website look current. Fewer will tell you the page you asked for shouldn't exist, that your three main buttons are competing with each other, or that nobody fills in the form because it asks for a budget range on the first screen.
A redesign is mostly about not breaking things
An established site has traffic, rankings, links and bookmarks. A redesign that ignores all that can lose you months of work in a weekend.

Past that it is scoped: how many templates there are, how much content needs writing, what has to be migrated and what it connects to.

Is Website Design a one-time price?
No. Website Design starts at $499 a month. It is a monthly plan rather than a project bill, which is why there is no large payment at the start. Bigger builds cost more a month, and we tell you the figure before anything starts.
Do I have to stay for 12 months?
No. You can stop the service at any time. Twelve monthly payments buys the website itself: complete twelve and the design is yours outright. Stop before then and the service ends, but the website does not transfer. There is no long-term contract either way, and the terms of the plan are set out on our terms page.
Do I own my website?
After 12 monthly payments, yes, outright. From that point you can stay on the plan, move down to Website Care at $199 a month, or take the site to another provider, and we will help you move it rather than making it difficult.
What if I need more development work?
Three hours a month are included. Past that we look at what you want, tell you what it involves and quote it before anything starts, at preferred client rates.
What if my project is bigger than that?
Stores, booking systems, members areas, directories, portals, custom applications, Drupal work, large migrations and anything with real integrations are quoted on their own. We look at what you have first, then give you a number in writing.
How long does a website take?
A focused business site is usually weeks rather than months.
Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes, and usually that's what happens. If you have brand guidelines we work inside them. If you have a logo and nothing else, we build the rest around it.
Outgrown the site you have?
Tell us what it fails to do. That's more useful than a brief, it's where every good project starts, and it's how we know whether yours fits the monthly plan or needs a quote of its own.
